Everyone needs a different level of excitement to get the ultimate kick. For some it’s a tour round the rope climbing garden – 12m above ground and only one rope in between – relax…you’ve been expertly secured. Others prefer the classic (and wet!) adventure of canyoning and rafting – an unforgettable experience and tremendous fun. See the mountains from the inside on the Flachau cave trips and discover rare stones and under-ground lakes. Explorers from 10 years onwards love the trips to the mines, dating from the time when iron mining took place in Flachau – hundreds of years ago. Safely secured climbing walls and climbing gardens can also be a test of courage – it all looks easier from the ground than it does when you’re up there!

There’s mountain biking in all degrees of difficulty to suit all levels of strength, hiking tours with or without breakfast at the summit and little Indians look forward to the camp-fires and spending the night in a tipi. Adventure Flachau offers flexible booking arrangements: bookings are accepted from three days onwards and you can arrive any day of the week. This way Flachau has adapted to the new demands on the style of travel and leisure today, such as spontaneous bookings and more frequent yet slightly shorter stays. This way you can avoid the traffic jams on a Saturday or make use of attractive flight offers and so save some precious holiday money.

These offers include the following:

1. Accommodation of your choice in a hotel (3 and 4 star with or without swimming pool) or in a bed-and-breakfast (category A with or without swimming pool) or in apartments (category A and B with children’s play area, sauna, sandwich service etc.).

2. The animation-team, consisting of thoroughly trained sports teachers, guides you through your holiday. Offering an active sports- and wellness-programme with lots of games and tournaments, divided into age-groups.

3. Special Adventure Programme: Offers every family a wide range of exciting activities to choose from. Each family receives 100 points per week (for 2 adults) and another 30 points for every further person (children). These points can be consumed by taking part in the special adventure programme, including activities such as riding, zorbing, rafting, climbing in the rope climbing garden etc.

4. 1 to 2 hikes a day, conducted by qualified, native hike-leaders and offered in various degrees of difficulty. Highlights are for example the sunrise hike or the summit hike.

5. Sports meeting: For the ones who haven’t moved enough during the day: Meet like-minded people in the Flachau sports hall and burn off excess energy whilst playing football, volleyball or table-tennis.

6. Entertainment: Enjoy yourself at karaoke, the kid’s disco, at the cinema or internet cafè or dancing at the Flachau Musistadl .

7. The Guest’s kindergarten: 5 days a week from Monday to Friday including lunch and a juice bar for children from 4-9.
